Hi! I'm Marla Leongomez! I'm the owner and principal designer of MLDesign Interiors. I'm a passionate, dynamic, detail-oriented, and creative architect and interior designer who helps create unique spaces based on the client's needs and wants.

Working closely together, we can resolve functional spaces and forms always yielding to positive results.  My strength is design.  I’m continuously researching and analyzing new trends to determine what contributes to visual and spatial appeal. 

My sense of what good design is: simplicity, color, scale, form & function.  I am also adept at providing a variety of approaches and solutions to a simple design problem.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the Universidad Piloto de Colombia and a Master's Degree in Interior Architectural Design from California State University of Long Beach.  Graduated with honors and earned awards with my "Aspire"  design for the Institute of Store Planners Student Retail and the Distinguished Achievement in Creative Activity Award from the College of the Arts at CSULB.

With over 17 years of experience, I've been involved in a variety of projects in both areas of specialization that go from conceptual design to project management and successful project completion in hospitality, commercial, and residential areas in California and South Florida.  Proficient in Cad SW applications, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, and the E-Design Platform with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

I bring to the table a wealth of experience as an accomplished architect and interior designer and I've also provided some photography and graphic design work for well-based companies.​
